St. Stephen’s Church is located at the corner of 50th Street and Wooddale Avenue in the Country Club District of Edina, Minnesota, a first-ring suburb of Minneapolis. This neighborhood, now on the National Register of Historic Places, was one of the earliest planned communities in the United States.
Across the street from St. Stephen’s is Utley Park, where the church holds an annual fall festival, known as the Johnny Appleseed Bash. Diagonal from the church property are Wooddale Park and the Edina Country Club. A few blocks down 50th Street are the shops and restaurants at 50th & France.
